Very excited to have a conversation with Trevor Casanova! He is currently a catcher in the Minnesota Twins Organization. Coming from a tough spot in his life, Trevor stopped playing baseball as a whole his freshman year in college and decided to work a "Nine to Five" job at a furniture store. With motivation and determination, in 2017, he enrolled at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon. Trevor was then drafted by the Seattle Mariners that same year but instead chose to enroll at Cal State Northridge for a specific reason. In 2018, he put up BIG numbers and again was drafted but by the Minnesota Twins and decided to sign. Curious to know why someone would go back to school after being drafted? Take a listen!

In 2013, Tyger was drafted in the 33rd round of the draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers after attending University of the Pacific. With growing up inside a baseball family, the coaching aspect came smooth for Tyger.

In life, there's people who we don't know will have that long lasting effect on us until later. Mine was a former coach named Roderick Greggs, that ended up turning into more of a father figure to me. Always have those role models in your life and never be afraid to ask for the guidance.
I am very thankful to have the opportunity to talk to Spencer Griffin as we talk about the topic of those role models in our lives that play a very important role. Spencer plays in the Los Angeles Angels organization in MiLB. This is one of the most down to earth guys I have ever talked to. This 6'1" 200lb Outfielder, is a must watch player on and off the field. Hard worker, intelligent, and most of all humble!

Very excited to have Kyle Wilson on the Loaded Bases Podcast! He is the hitting coach for the Durham Bulls, Triple-A affiliate for the Tampa Bay Rays. Kyle is an entrepreneur as well. He is the Owner of The Performance Academy in Raleigh, North Carolina which is a baseball training facility. Kyle's background in baseball includes playing at North Carolina State and a brief stint with the San Francisco Giants in 2011. He came from a well-known baseball family and had coaching in his blood. I am thankful to have Kyle on the Podcast!
