Episode 5! Happy Opening Week! Opening Day 2.0 is on July 23rd and I am super excited to see the MLB finally get going!
But there are some issues that still align in the baseball industry that we, as fans, do not know the truths about.. Fair pay and other issues that arise in minor league baseball that there are LOTS of ex-players, staff, and advocates in general, who are always doing what they can to prevent these issues.
Jonathan Perrin has played roughly four years in the minors throughout his career for the Milwaukee Brewers and Kansas City Royals organizations. In 2018, he publicly came in in an article on NPR about the the fight against low pay. Jon is now a financial advisor and will always be on the players side in this on-going fight.

Episode 4! The MLB Opening Day 2.0 is July 23rd!
The more you hear stories about baseball events that cannot be explained, you soon to realize that karma is real and the ball never lies. There are reasons why we, as players and fans, are superstitious and have the same routine everyday. I came to question this deeper and if there's an explanation about these reoccurring events. I did a simple Google search and the name Jonathan Fink came up. He is the author of, "The Baseball Gods are Real: A True Story about Baseball and Spirituality." I immediately purchased the book and read it within a few days. I decided to send a message out to Jonathan telling him my own personal stories with how I, as well, believe the Baseball Gods are Real.
I am honored to have the opportunity to chat and talk with Jonathan Fink. Jonathan is a the Founder, President, and Financial Advisor at Satya Investment Firm in Leawood, Kansas. He has his Bachelors in Political Science from Tulane University and also his MBA from University of Missouri- Kansas City. His aspiration behind his journey to figure out life's questions became his focus and to this point he has written six books about his journey. Want to learn more about manifesting your thoughts? Jonathan Fink is your guy!

Very excited to have the opportunity to talk to John Williamson, aka Swilson! He's a 2015 Chicago Cubs draft pick and found himself in the grind of the minor leagues but yet he has a huge side passion. The music industry. His first album was released in 2014 and was all self-produced and recorded. He has many albums and singles that are on Apple, Spotify, as well as Soundcloud. Come and take a listen to the story of how a MiLB player turns music artist! The prime example of never settling and to never give up on your dreams. From one of my favorite recording artists to a now headliner for my podcast. Very blessed to say the least!

Sunday Jul 05, 2020
Episode 2! Happy Fourth of July! I explain my love for the Sandlot and notice how small this world really is. Our guest Randall Thompson, president and founder of Dugout Mugs, talks about his journey into creating a multimillion dollar company within the baseball retail organization. Randall started playing the game of baseball at 5 years old and eventually got paid to play thanks to the Toronto Blue Jays. He always had two unexplainable loves: baseball and being creative. Filled with concepts and ideas (some better than others) he eventually combined the two and founded Dugout Mugs®, and introduced the Dugout Mug, the Wined Up, and the Knob Shot to the baseball world.

Episode 1! Its been a long journey these past few months but it is finally here!
My first guest of the show would be the one and only, Alec Palmer, Director of Marketing for Momentum. Momentum, founded by Trevor Bauer and Taiki Green, is a media network that focuses on connecting baseball fans with athletes through storytelling on the most human level possible. Alec Palmer comes from Pittsburgh, PA but now resides in Cleveland, OH. He attended Baldwin-Wallace University, where he played baseball until an injury forced him to hang up the cleats. This is where he got his start in media, creating and then expanding the university’s Creative Media for multiple athletics programs. In addition to his athletic ties, Alec also received his BA in Accounting and a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA). Alec is also an Executive Board Member of Jameson’s Army, a charity founded on the mission of helping children born with Congenital Heart Defects (CHD.)
